“Take Back America” theme so popular with all the GOP, begs the question….”From who?”

1. The obvious answer is the “SuperPacs” and those that support them. Chris Matthews recent survey commentary suggest that 59% of republicand support SuperPacs, but only 3-5% Dems do. SuperPacs are Wall Street personified and we should turn this catch phrase back on them, at the right time.

2. We need series of charts “rhetoric vs. reality”. This administration is not getting credit for its good work and the GOP is hiding the results of the previous 8 years. A whole series of these charts on all the GOP talking points will, at least give those who don’t want to discuss the facts a little more of a challenge defending their position at the “country club”.

3. Romney is very careful to parce his words. That’s why he has such trouble when going off script. In NH and paraphrasing, he said that “this president keeps adding to the debt”. This is technically correct, but disguises and dismisses that 90% of the total debt comes from the Bush era. I put this in the category of “reading the fine print” and can be used to support the way Romney and Bain took advantage of less sophisticated listeners. Cynically, it is also why they don’t really want to support educational reform.
