Deal with Illegal Immigration from the Inside Out

Okay, we have many illegals in our country. Let’s face it…we encouraged this immigration. Stats are saying we have less and less immigration these days. So lets deal with this population who have been second class hidden citizens – who pay taxes without benefits. Yes, illegal is illegal. But the fact is this population has started American families. We do not want to split families up by sending this population back to their original place of birth. Let step up to the plate and encourage this population to take the steps to becoming accepted in the States. Keep in mind this population is the poor. They can not afford outrageous fees to become legal. This won’t solve the problem if the family can not afford to become legal. Also, don’t make the plan complicated. Keep in mind most of the immigrants are illiterate. This population has the potential to become good tax paying citizens. Let’s make it happen.

Education for Mexican Immigrants in Mexico

I have found that a majority of the illegal Mexicans coming into the States are very close to illiterate. We need to encourage Mexico to get their people educated. The illegals I have talked to dropped out of school at a very early age and their goal appeared to be to come to the States and work. We would not have this problem if Mexico would change some of their priorities.

Don’t send illegals home, make them pay taxes

adopting the FairTax system will insure that everyone! citizens, tourists, illegal immigrants, off the book workers, workers of the illegal sort, all pay their fair share

1. It eliminates the regressive payroll tax that hurts the poor. Currently, every one of us is taxed a minimum of 7.65% on our first-dollar of wages up to $90,000 (the cap for FICA, not Medicare), if we earn that much. It provides funding for Social Security and Medicare at a level equal to the current system.

2. It provides that all 290 million Americans and 51 million visiting tourists fund Social Security and Medicare with their purchases. Today only 110 million workers fund these programs via deductions from their paychecks.

3. It assures that the wealthiest Americans will be voluntarily helping to fund social security with every last dollar they spend above the poverty level. Today, earnings are subject to FICA taxes only up to $90,000. The wealthiest Americans therefore do not pay into the system above that amount. If their earnings are from investments, no earnings fund the Social Security system.

Get Educated in the USA, then stay in the USA

I have noticed that many families from various countries send their children to the USA to get a good enducation in american universities and colleges. They go to the USA on a visa which allows them to stay only until there schooling is complteted, then the INS says they must leave and use what they have learned in their own country, why is that. I would think the US would benifit by having the best educated people work within the USA, so that the US would benifit from the great education these people have received. Why does the US want the best educated people of the world to be engineers, chemist, doctors and nurses for other coutries? I would think the US would want the best educated to stay in the USA and help us to have the best people in all fields here. After all, the USA is suppose to be the land of opportunity, correct? How are we going to continue to make the best products and have the best hospitals and manufacturing, if we do not allow the best to come, learn and stay and pursue their dreams in the USA?

Illegal Immigration

Obama realizes that three past rolling amnesties—and, in some years, a million new illegal aliens arriving across our borders—over the last few decades have changed somewhat the electoral map of New Mexico, Arizona, Texas and California, and may soon alter them altogether. So I doubt he has much incentive to do the right thing on illegal immigration. But the vast majority of Americans are still furious that the law is held to such ridicule. What then might he do?

Essentially nothing. By that, I mean allow the fence to continue; let the immigration service continue to fine employers; count on the weak economy persuading fewer to come north and some to return south; quietly deport felons and lawbreakers. If entries are stopped, if the pool is static; and if the formidable powers of integration and assimilation return, despite being stymieing in the past by multiculturalism, then all the contentious issues of amnesty, guest workers, etc. start to recede. So doing nothing, but letting present policies continue would turn out to help him a great deal.
